Winnipeg: Reconciliation in the Watershed

Registration is closed for this event
A workshop to re-learn and re-vamp understandings of the environment through decolonizing our relationship with water. Our watersheds sustain our lives and connect us to those both near and far - but our actions have impacts on the environment beyond what we may intend. This workshop will be led by Amelia Berot-Burns, the Ecological Justice Program Coordinator at KAIROS Canada, and will feature local experts. Lunch will be provided. Pay-what-you-can event with a suggested contribution of $15. Nobody will be turned away. Parking available. Sponsored by Mennonite Central Committee and KAIROS Cambrian-Agassiz
