Everyone is invited to the opening worship of the G7 Jubilee People's Forum, where many traditions will come together seeking the justice of the Jubilee. Led by the Calgary Interfaith Council, this service will include voices and elements from Muslim, Hindu, Indigenous, Jewish, Buddhist, Bahai, Sikh, Unitarian and Christian traditions. Christian representation will include renowned advocate for people and the planet, Cardinal Barreto from Peru.

Langar (free meal) will be provided by the Calgary Sikh community following the service.

All are welcome! Please use this free registration to tell us you are coming for the evening. Everyone is also asked to bring a head covering, such as a bandana.

Join the G7 Jubilee People’s Forum participants and other civil society organizations in public action that calls G7 leaders to justice. Meet at City Hall in downtown Calgary for a program beginning at noon, led by the Calgary Climate Hub. Bring your "flames of hope" and other economic and ecological justice signs. The solidarity walk begins at 2:00 p.m. with rally stops at various prominent G7 locations in the downtown area. The People’s Forum will maintain a presence at City Hall plaza throughout the afternoon to engage the public. Join us for the whole afternoon or just come when you can. 

Organize or participate in a solidarity rally. One person or many, holding flames of hope, in locations across the country, will build the momentum for change.
