In spring, we see new leaves unfold and flowers open; a gentle reminder of what can flourish after a long winter, a reminder that roots - the foundation - have always been present and just waiting for the perfect time to open and show their full potential and beauty.
The KAIROS Blanket Exercise is quite similar to the plants we see during springtime; what’s always been an impactful exercise is now starting to take a fuller form, with new leaves, stems and branches. This form is made possible by the KBE community.
The 6th edition of the KAIROS Blanket Exercise Adult Standard Script is now available thanks to the KBE Indigenous Advisory Circle following a series of brainstorming sessions, thoughtful discussions and collaborative meetings. This updated edition includes important milestones, new scrolls and updated statistics. The Circle is now hard at work updating the Youth Script. We extend our gratitude to Circle members: Jacquline Richards, Shona Sparrow, Dianne Garner, Marie & Robin McLeod, Teresa Snow, Viola Plett, Clifford Mushquash, Jerri-lynn Orr and Gkisedtanamoogk.
