This is also a celebration of Kairos at 25!

Kairos Canada has launched two new participatory workshops designed to deepen understanding of migrant justice in Canada and inspire action. 

The workshops, Migrant Worker Exercise and Equal in Dignity, Equal in Rights: A Migrant Justice Workshop for Church Communities, invite participants to explore the choices, hurdles and power imbalances migrant workers may encounter while navigating Canada’s temporary labour migration system.

What are we leaving for future generations? What will we make possible? 

This fall, Kairos launches #DearFuture, a campaign about what we have inherited, what we refuse to pass on and what we choose to build together.

During this Season of Creation, communities across Canada are invited to reflect on Living Water as a source of healing, renewal and hope for all creation. Explore resources, webinars, prayer gatherings and opportunities for action that connect faith, ecological justice, reconciliation, peace and care for our common home. Join For the Love of Creation from September 1 to October 4 as we pray, learn and act together for a flourishing future.

For nearly two decades, dedicated Kairos volunteers have strengthened justice movements across Northwest Ontario and Manitoba. This tribute celebrates Debby Dandy, Carin Crowe and fellow leaders whose faith, advocacy and community-building helped advanced reconciliation, climate action and social justice - and whose service continues to inspire local action across the entire region today.

At Model Youth Justice, 30 young people found more than a weekend of learning in August. They found community. Through shared meals, games, music, outdoor activities and honest conversations, participants built friendships across differences and discovered the strength of working together for justice and peace.

What happens when young people are not just invited to participate, but are empowered to lead? Reflecting on Collective 2026, Danielle Kamtié’s explores lessons in shared leadership, meaningful engagement and building communities where youth shape the conversation. Discover why working with young people, not simply for them, matters.

In his moving reflection, Zoughbi Zoughbi of Wi’am: The Palestinian Conflict Transformation Center, shares the story of Layla, a Bethlehem artisan whose floral creations have become an act of resilience amid deepening hardship. Through her experience, we glimpse the daily realities facing Palestinian communities and the enduring power of hope, dignity and nonviolent resistance. 

Kairos’ solidarity partner, B’tselem – Israeli Information Centre for Human Rights, released a chilling new report documenting settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank: The Elimination Project: Israel’s Systematic Dismantling of Palestinian Collective Life in the West Bank.

Join Kairos and partners for an evening of learning, solidarity and action with human rights defenders from the Philippines. Hear firsthand from Mervin Torquero of the National Council of Churches in the Philippines and Tinay Palabay of KARAPATAN as they share the realities of resisting injustice and defending human rights.
